I was a bit freaked out, but I was so amazed he let me get that close. I basically stuck my phone in his face and hoped for the best. I was so tickled to get the shot :)
Wow! This is an amazing shot! Was this a close-up or did you use a long lens? It's nice to see the different colourings on the frog's back. They are usually so quick they get away! Thanks so much for linking up to #MyAugustPhoto. Looking forward to seeing more of your photographs. The linky is open all month. Thanks, Polly :) Our Seaside Baby
Thank you! Yes, I was super close, I used my phone. He sat there and let me take his picture, I think he was posing :) I think he is a toad...I am not very good at identification. Thank you, I look forward to sharing more pictures with you.
My kids always go to pick them up two they really are quite adorable but tell me truthfully do you know if it is a frog or a toad? I'm guessing toad but correct me if I'm wrong. Thank you for sharing on Country Kids
Oh wow, was he in your garden?! I think I'd jump out of my skin if I saw him in mine :) Thanks for linking up to #TheWonderlandLinkup Channon, hope to see you again today :)

DeleteCool frog photo.
ReplyDeleteThank you Rhonda!
DeleteNice toad find!
ReplyDeleteI was very tickled when I saw him just tucked under the porch :)
DeleteThat's a great shot but it reminds me too much of cane toads:). We kill them here by spraying them with Dettol!
ReplyDeleteYikes! I think it is just a garden toad, but not sure. We live in America in the Midwest.
DeleteMaybe it is a toad. Not sure what country you are in :)
