The Sights And Textures of Charleston

In January we were in Myrtle Beach, and decided to take a day trip to Charleston.  It is a beautiful town with a lot of history and old buildings with so much character.

I shared some photos from our trip here and here.  We had such a wonderful trip.  Even though it wasn't super hot, ok it was downright cool, but at least they had palm trees and sun!  Back home our house was buried in snow.

So, here is the last group of pics.  I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed taking them.

I love seeing all the brick roads and buildings.  We had fun just walking the streets and looking at all of the cute shops.  My husband loves trying those little whole in the wall restaurants, so we stopped by the Early Bird Diner.  Yum!

If your in the area you should give it a try!  Happy traveling.

  1. My old stomping grounds! Love this city. Always beautiful - we often think of moving there after my husband retires. Miss the climate!!
